Biography

Bonolo is the founder and Executive Chairperson of Differentia. He is a qualified chartered accountant having completed articles at Deloitte & Touche. He is a businessman and has lectured financial reporting and management accounting at the University of South Africa as well as guest lectured entrepreneurship at Wits University.

At Differentia he has overseen M&A deal advisory work in mining, agriculture, private security and manufacturing. The largest transaction he has advised on was a M&A deal totalling R360 million in agriculture. He has been recognized by SAICA as one of the Top 35 CA (SA) under 35 in South Africa in 2014 as well as one of the youngest participants at Davos by the World Economic Forum. He is an alumni of the WEF Global Shapers Community and currently serves as the Treasurer General of the Black Business Council, the apex business organisation in South Africa.

He has a passion for education and skills development and thus sits on the Council of the Central Johannesburg College and is the chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee and sits on the Finance Committee. He also sits on the Council of the Gauteng CET College where he serves as a chairperson of the Finance Committee and serves on the Audit and Risk Committee.

He likes deals, reading and road running.

Biography

As a Corporate finance director of Differentia , Nkosana has a degree in commerce and has worked with two large advisory firms. His expertise includes; financial modelling, project memoranda development, analysing and interpreting financial data, report writing and proposal writing. While working for PWC, he worked on a project for a South African SOC to analyse the commercial viability of procuring a Flue Gas Desulphirizer (FGD) through a Private Sector Participation model.

Activities performed included the development of a financial model. Before coming to PWC, he was at KPMG and has worked on a project that had transaction value of R1.2 billion. Nkosana has also assisted with the development of a financial model for the Limpopo Economic Development and Tourism feasibility study project for the procurement and installation of broadband in the Limpopo province. He has also advised governments on renewable projects and has worked in South Africa, Namibia, East Africa and Saudi Arabia.

With his knowledge in advisory, assisted in numerous proposal submissions and advisory projects relating to renewable energy projects, healthcare infrastructure and rail transport.

He loves music a lot and plays the piano… well.
